FAQ on companies in the special public interest

The concept of companies in the special public interest (UBIs) was introduced in the German IT Security Act 2.0. The FAQ explain which companies fall under the new regulations, the rights and responsibilities associated with each category and all the applicable deadlines. From 1.11.2021, a reporting obligation applies for hazardous incident UBIs (UBI 3). Further details can be found in the FAQ.
