Der Standort bietet Dienstleistungen zum Wafer-Test und zum Final Test von Smart Card ICs auf Wafern an: Der Standort erhält Wafer und Testprogramme von deren Kunden. Die ICs und die erhaltenen Wafer sind im Test-Modus, die durchgeführten Tests umfasst eine Pre-Personalisierung der ICs und am Ende einen Wechsel der Lebenszyklus-Phase (Verriegeln der ICs). Zusätzlich kann der Standort noch Final Test von Sicherheits-ICs durchführen.
The site provides services for wafer testing and final test of smart card ICs on wafers. The site receives wafers and test programs from their customers. The ICs on the received wafers are in testing mode, the wafer tests include a pre-personalisation of the ICs and a lifecycle transition (locking of the ICs). In addition, the site is capable of doing final test of security ICs.
