Der evaluierte Standort ist ein Produktionsstandort und befindet sich in der koreanischen Stadt Paju.
Ase Korea bietet hier die Montage in Packages für Sicherheits-IC Module für SmartCards und NFC (Near field communication) Produkte als Service an:

Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do,
South Korea.
Der Standort besteht aus dem Gebäude für Produktion (PB1) und noch ein weiteres benachbartes Gebäude für die Produktion (PB2) die ausschließlich von ASE Korea belegt sind und zu dieser Site Zertifizierung gehören.
Der Standort beinhaltet die beiden Gebäude PB1 und PB2. PB1 besteht aus vier Etagen, PB2 aus acht.
ASE Korea bietet folgende Dienstleistungen für den Lebenszyklus von Chipkarten an:
- Entgegennahme, Identifizierung, Registrierung und Lagerung von Wafern,
- Modulmontage (einschl. Waferschleifen, Wafersägen, Laserbearbeitung, Die-Attach, Molding usw.),
- Montage von Wafer Fabricated Package (WFP) (einschl. Waferschleifen, Wafersägen usw.),
- Elektrische Prüfung von Wafern und Modulen,
- Erstellung von Wafermaps mit Markierung von passed und failed Dice,
- Lagerhaltung und Versand der fertigen Module.
The site under evaluation is a production site located in the Korean city Paju.
ASE Korea is providing at this site assembly for Security IC modules for Smart Card and NFC (Near field communication) related device:

The location consists of Production 1 building (PB1) and Production 2 building (PB2) (annexed building) which are occupied completely by ASE Korea pertaining to the site certification.
The site comprises the two Production Buildings PB1 and PB2. PB1 has 4 floors, PB2 has eight floors.
ASE Korea provides following services according to smart card life cycle:
- Receipt, identification, registration and storage of wafers,
- Module assembly (incl. wafer grinding, wafer sawing, laser groove, die attach, mold-ing, etc.),
- Wafer Fabricated Package (WFP) assembly (incl. wafer grinding, wafer sawing etc.),
- Electrical testing of wafers and modules,
- Creation of wafer map, indicating passed and failed dice,
- Warehousing and dispatch of finished modules.
