Schutzprofil / Protection Profile
Das Schutzprofil Biometric Mechanisms Protection Profile 2.0 vom 8.10.2021 beschreibt den EVG-Typ als ein biometrisches System. Das Schutzprofil ist modular aufgebaut und enthält ein Basisschutzprofil sowie vier zusätzliche funktionale Pakete. Der EVG, basierend auf einem base PP in Kombination mit mindestens einem funktionalen Paket kann Verifikation mit biometrischen Merkmalen und die Funktionalität für die Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) zur Verfügung stellen. Zusätzlich kann der EVG die Funktionalitäten für die Administrator Identifikation und Authentifizierung umsetzen und/oder die Schutzfunktionalitäten des Registrierungsprozesses anbieten.
The Biometric Mechanisms Protection Profile (BMPP), Version 2.0 from October, 8th 2021 describes as a TOE type a biometric system. The PP has a modular structure and it specifies a base PP as well as four additional functional packages. The TOE, depending on the base PP and at least one functional package, shall provide biometric verification and/or functionality for Presentation Attack Detection (PAD). In augmentation to one of these functionalities, the TOE may provide the functionality for identification and authentication of administrators or the functionality for protection of the enrollment process.
