Der Evaluationsgegenstand (EVG) ist der NXP Secure Smart Card Controller P61N1M3P mit spezieller IC-Software und zugehöriger Dokumentation. Der EVG ist eine Hardwareplattform für Anwenderprogramme, die unter einem Smart Card Betriebssystem laufen. Er besteht aus einer 8-bit CPU, Speicher inklusive Speicherverwaltungseinheit, kryptographischen Ko-prozessoren, sowie Sensoren und Kommunikationsmodulen. Die CPU unterstützt 32-/24-/16-/8-bit Instruktionen und ist speziell für Smart Card Applikationen konzipiert.
The TOE is the IC hardware platform P61N1M3P with IC Dedicated Software and documentation describing instruction set and usage of the TOE. The TOE does not include a customer-specific Security IC Embedded Software. The IC hardware is a microcontroller incorporating a central processing unit, memories accessible via a Memory Management Unit, cryptographic co-processors, other security components and several electrical communication interfaces. The central processing unit supports a 32-/24-/16-/8-bit instruction set optimized for smartcard applications
