Der Evaluationsgegenstand (EVG) ist der NXP Secure Smart Card Controller P60x144/080yVA/yVA(Y/B/X)/yVE mit spezieller IC-Software und zugehöriger Dokumentation.
Der EVG ist eine Hardwareplattform für Anwenderprogramme, die unter einem Smart Card Betriebssystem laufen. Er besteht aus einer 8-bit CPU, Speicher inklusive Speicherverwaltungseinheit, Krypto-Ko-prozessoren, sowie Sensoren und Kommunikationsmodulen. Die CPU unterstützt 32-/24-/16-/8-bit Instruktionen und ist speziell für Smart Card Applikationen konzipiert.
