Der Evaluationsgegenstand (EVG) besteht aus einem Hardwareteil und einem Softwareteil: Der Hardwareteil umfasst die NXP Secure Smart Card Controller P5CC037V0A sowie die jeweils im Test-ROM gespeicherte IC Dedicated Software. Der Softwareteil umfasst die IC Dedicated Support Software “Crypto Library V2.2”, einer kryptographischen Bibliothek, welche der Smartcard Embedded Software, z.B. einem Smartcard Betriebssystem kryptographische Funktionen zur
Verfügung stellt. Die kryptographische Bibliothek besteht aus einigen Binärpaketen, welche in die Smartcard Embedded Software gelinkt werden sollen. Der Smartcard Embedded Software Entwickler linkt die benötigten Binärpakete in seine Smartcard Embedded Software und das Resultat wird dann im User-ROM oder im EPROM implementiert. Es handelt sich um eine Re-Zertifizierung basierend auf BSI-DSZ-CC-0550-2008 auf Grund einer Änderung der Hardware Plattform.
The Target of Evaluation (TOE) consists of a hardware part and a software part: The hardware part consists of the NXP P5CC037V0A Secure Smart Card Controller with IC Dedicated Software stored in the Test-ROM. The software part consists of the IC Dedicated Support Software “Crypto Library V2.2" which is a cryptographic library, that provides a set of cryptographic functions to be used by the Smartcard embedded Software, e.g. a Smart Card Operating System.
The cryptographic library consists of several binary packages that are intended to be linked to the Smartcard Embedded Software. The Smartcard Embedded Software developer links the binary packages that he needs to his Smartcard Embedded Software and the whole is subsequently implemented in the User ROM or EEPROM. This is a re-certification based on BSI-DSZ-CC-0550-2008 where the hardware plattform has been changed.
