Der Renesas HD65256D1 version 01 smartcard integrated circuit ist eine Hardware-Plattform für Anwender­programme, die unter einem Smart Card Betriebssystem laufen. Der IC besteht aus Processing Unit, System Control Logic, Security Logic, Firewall Management Unit, Interfaces, Volatile und Non-Volatile Memories (ROM, RAM, EEPROM), DES Coprocessor, Random Number Generator (RNG), CRC Coprocessor und drei Interval Timer. Der HD65256D1 unterstützt die Wahrung der Integrität und der Vertraulichkeit der in den nicht flüchtigen Speichern abgelegten Daten und die Integrität und den Betrieb der bereitgestellten Sicherheitsfunktionen. Der HD65256D1 ist konform zum Smartcard IC Platform Protection Profile (BSI-PP-0002-2001).

The Renesas HD65256D1 version 01 smartcard integrated circuit is a HW platform for applications executed under a smart card operating system. The IC consist of processing unit, system control logic, security logic, firewall management unit, interfaces, volatile und non-volatile memories (ROM, RAM, EEPROM), DES coprocessor, random number generator (RNG), CRC coprocessor und drei interval timer. The HD65256D1 ensures the integrity and confidentiality of the information stored in the non-volatile memories and the integrity and operation of the provided secutity functions. Der HD65256D1 ist conform to the Smartcard IC Platform Protection Profile (BSI-CC-PP-0035-2007).
