Beim NXP J3A128 und J3A095 Secure Smart Card Controller Rev. 3 (kurz JCOP 2.4.1 R3 oder TOE) handelt es sich um eine Java Card. Das TOE besteht aus dem Java Card Betriebssystem, der NXP Crypto Library für SmartMX v2.7 (zertifiziert unter BSI-DSZ-CC-0750-2011) auf der Hardware P5CD145V0A (zertifiziert unter BSI-DSZ-CC-0645-2010).
Die folgenden Komponenten bilden das Gesamtsystem:

  • Die Smart Card Plattform, bestehend aus der Hardware Plattform und dem Hardware Abstraction layer
  • Das JavaCard Betriebssystem (JCVM, JCRE, JC API und GlobalPlatform CardManager)
  • Die nativen MIFARE Applikation, je nach Konfiguration in Typ A oder B4

The product type is identified as Java Card. The TOE referenced is part of the entire product NXP J3A128 and J3A095 Secure Smart Card Controller Rev. 3, also referred to shortly as JCOP 2.4.1 R3 including the cryptographic library Crypto Library on SmartMX V2.7 identified as smart card platform (BSI-DSZ-CC-0750-2011) on the hardware P5CD145V0A (BSI-DSZ-CC-0645-2010).
This product consists of the following components:

  • Smart card platform (SCP) (parts of the hardware platform and hardware abstraction layer),
  • Embedded software (Java Card Virtual Machine, Runtime Environment, Java Card API, Card Manager), and
  • Native MIFARE application (physically present but logically disabled in minor configuration "MIFARE Emulation = A" and logically enabled in the minor configurations "MIFARE Emulation = B1") whereby the TOE does not include some parts of the hardware platform : The TOE does not include any software on the application layer (Java Card applets).
