Bei dem Evaluierungsgegenstand (EVG) handelt es sich um einen Teil des Schwachstellen- und Netzwerkscanners mit der folgenden Bezeichnung: Max Patrol Compliance and Vulnerability Management System (CC) and its related guidance documentation V8.25.1.20707. Der EVG beinhaltet dabei den Scanner mit welchem Systeme und Netzwerke überprüft werden, einen Reportdienst zur Darstellung der Scanergebnisse und ein Kontrollsystem, welches die unterschiedlichen Prozesse koordiniert. Gesteuert wird der EVG über die integrierte MaxPatrol-Konsole, welche ebenfalls Bestandteil des EVG ist.
