Beim EVG handelt es sich um ein System zur Kontrolle des Zugriffs von Endgeräten auf ein Netzwerk. Der Einsatz von macmon ermöglicht die Verwaltung und Überwachung des Netzwerks und der enthaltenen Komponenten. Damit gehört der EVG zu den Network Access Control (NAC) Systemen. Der EVG realisiert die Sicherheitsfunktionen Audit, Management und NAC.
The TOE is a system for controlling the access of devices on a network. The use of macmon allows the management and monitoring of the network and the contained components. Thus, the TOE belongs to the class of network access control (NAC) systems. The TOE realizes the three security functions audit, management and NAC.
