Der Evaluierungsgegenstand (EVG) ist die OSCI-Komponente von Governikus. Governikus als Teil der virtuellen Poststelle des Bundes stellt Dienste für die gesicherte Kommunikation zwischen Behörden und externen Kommunikationspartnern (z. B. Bürger, Wirtschaft und andere Behörden) bereit. Die OSCI-Komponente beinhaltet eine Funktionsbibliothek für die sichere Anzeige und das Signieren von Dokumenten am Arbeitsplatz sowie zur Kommunikation über das OSCI-Protokoll. Die weiteren Anteile der OSCI-Komponente bilden eine Funktionsbibliothek zur Integration in ein Fachverfahren (OSCI-Backend-Enabler), die eine Anbindung über das OSCI-Protokoll erlaubt sowie die zentrale Serverkomponente für den Betrieb einer OSCI-konformen IT-Infrastruktur (OSCI-Manager).
The TOE ist the OSCI module of Governikus, part of the product "Virtuelle Poststelle des Bundes". This product provides services for the secure communication between governmental agencies and other parties (e.g. citizens, private industries, etc.). On the one hand, the OSCI module comprises a library providing a secure viewer, functionalities for the application of electronic signatures and a API for the OSCI protocol. On the other hand, the TOE contains a library that provides an API for the integration of OSCI into server applications and the server application OSCI Manager that is part of an OSCI-compliant infrastructure.
