Der Evaluierungsgegenstand (EVG) ist das Verifikationsmodul von Governikus. Governikus als Teil der virtuellen Poststelle des Bundes stellt Dienste für die gesicherte Kommunikation zwischen Behörden und externen Kommunikationspartnern (z. B. Bürger, Wirtschaft und andere Behörden) bereit. Das Verifikationsmodul umfasst eine Signaturanwendungskomponente für das Verifizieren von Signaturen sowie von Zertifikaten am Arbeitsplatz des Endnutzers.
The TOE ist the Verification module of Governikus, part of the product "Virtuelle Poststelle des Bundes". This product provides services for the secure communication between governmental agencies and other parties (e.g. citizens, private industries, etc.). The verification module comprises a signature creation application for the verification of electronic signatures and certificates.
