Der Evaluierungsgegenstand (EVG) ist das Produkt TCOS Signatur Modul Version 1.0 Release 1/SLE78CLX480P der Firma T-Systems International GmbH. Der EVG ist ein "Signatur Modul", eine kontakt-basierte Chipkarte die gemäß der Technischen Richtlinie TR-03119, Version 1.1 implementiert ist. Die wichtigsten Sicherheitsmechanismen des EVG sind: die Verifikation der Authentizität und Integrität sowie die Sicherung der Vertraulichkeit der Benutzerdaten in dem Kommunikationskanal zwischen dem EVG und der Terminalsoftware, welche als Unterzeichner fungiert, die Erstellung von digitalen Signaturen durch die tSign-Applikation, der Selbstschutz der Sicherheitsfunktionalität des EVG und der gespeicherten Benutzerdaten.
Target of evaluation (TOE) is the product TCOS Signature Module Version 1.0 Release 1/SLE78CLX480P provided by T-Systems International GmbH. The TOE is a Signature Module representing a contact-based smart card programmed according to the Technical Guideline TR-03119, Version 1.1. The major security features of the TOE are: Verifying authenticity and integrity as well as securing confidentiality of user data in the communication channel between the TOE and the terminal software acting as signer, creation of digital signatures by the tSign application, self-protection of the TOE security functionality and the data stored inside.
