IT Security in the Digital Consumer Market

As part of its market monitoring activities, the BSI regularly examines individual segments of the digital consumer market. The aim is to identify the need for action on the basis of the findings and to provide a basis for further discussion and cooperation between government, industry and society. In this way, market observation actively contributes to the holistic design of digital consumer protection in Germany and Europe.

The publication series "IT Security in the Digital Consumer Market" is the central publication of the BSI in the context of the observation of the digital consumer market. This series will be published from 2021 onwards with various focal points. The individual publications can be found here:
