What is PEACHPIT?

PEACHPIT is a malware for Ad-Fraud. It will load ads and click them without the users knowledge. This way, the attacker can generate ad revenue.

How did I get infected with PEACHPIT?

Infection occurs by downloading and installing fraudulent apps from official app stores. PEACHPIT is automatically installed on Android devices which are already infected with BADBOX.

What do I have to do now?

Scan the infected device with an antivirus program and delete any suspicious apps to remove PEACHPIT. In case of a severe infection, reinstalling the operating system may be necessary. Avoid downloading apps from unknown sources and regularly check the apps installed on your device.
