What is Crackonosh?

Crackonosh is capable of silently disabling antivirus software. Crackonosh's main task is to generate online currencies such as Monero. To do this, system resources are diverted and used for these activities without the victim's consent. Crackonosh can also download other malicious programs from a server and run them.

Crackonosh requires active installation of an infected application, which is usually hidden within another, harmless-looking software package. Usually it is installed silently through the installation of illegal or cracked copies of popular software.
