International cooperation within the scope of SOGIS-MRA

The following international bodies work together within the scope of SOGIS-MRA.

1. Management Committee (MC SOGIS-MRA)

The Management Committee is the most senior body for the European Recognition Arrangement. All signatory parties - Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and UK - are represented.

2. Joint Interpretation Working Group (JIWG)

The Joint Interpretation Working Group is a working group deployed by the Management Committee to provide support for technical issues in relation to the application of the security criteria CC (Common Criteria) and ITSEC (Information Technology Security Evaluation Criteria). The JIWG (Joint Interpretation Working Group) is made up of members of the recognised certification bodies and, where necessary, participants as specified by the Management Committee. The JIWG is responsible for the Joint Interpretation Library (JIL), which is a document that harmonises the application of the security criteria and the procedures for certification processes. JIL (Joint Interpretation Library) documents can be introduced by the JIWG into the international CC (Common Criteria) Recognition Arrangement, and are then granted the status of a CC Supporting Document.
