The BSI has established a certification and accreditation scheme that ensures the comparability of certification processes and the expertise of certified auditors.

The audit assistance provided by the certification body comprises an in-depth review of the audit report. The primary focus here is to ensure comparability between certification processes.

At the request of the applicant, the certification body may provide onsite support for part of the audit. In such cases, the applicant will be invoiced for the travel expenses according to the fee schedule.
