The "Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation (CC)" are the internationally recognised criteria for evaluating and assessing the security of IT products.

They are suitable for assessing the security features of virtually all information technology products.

All testing is carried out by a testing laboratory that has been approved by the BSI.

The Information Technology Security Evaluation Criteria (ITSEC) form a criteria framework published by the EU Commission for the evaluation of objects to be evaluated in the field of IT security. The validity of this scope is due to expire, so that initial approval is no longer possible in this context.
