Regulations on Fees
On 1 October 2019, a new regulation (referred to as "BMIBGebV") governing the fees to be levied by the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building, and Community for individually attributable public services rendered within its purview went into effect. The BMIBGebV includes a summary of the circumstances in which fees are to be levied. The situations in which the BSI is to levy such fees can be found under Section 7 ("BSI-Gesetz") and Section 8 ("De-Mail-Gesetz"). The BMIBGebV replaced the previous regulations on costs pertaining to the BSI and De-Mail.
