Important Notice

With the date 01.07.2022 the product Chiasmus has lost its approval for VS-NfD (classified information - for official use only), NATO-RESTRICTED, and EU-RESTRICTED). In addition, the distribution of and support for Chiasmus was discontinued.

In order to continue encrypting files and exchanging e-mails in a VS-NfD-compliant manner you should switch to an alternative product approved for VS-NfD.

Information on products is summarized in a replacement guide.

Additionally there is a list of FAQs (only in German language). If you do not find your question there, please contact Referat-KM15@bsi.bund.de for technical questions and zulassung@bsi.bund.de for approval questions.

The following conditions of use and operation (SecOps) for the alternative products described in the replacement guide can be requested by authorized bodies from zulassung@bsi.bund.de:
