Data centre security / High availability

Consolidation is continuing apace within public authorities and free enterprise alike, which is leading to IT being concentrated more and more in centralised data centres. This means each individual data centre is becoming more and more important to the functioning of society. At the same time, availability demands on these data centres are on the rise thanks to our growing dependence on digitalisation and the way it is penetrating practically every aspect of public and private life (buzzword: the cloud).

In other words, ever fewer data centres have to fulfil ever higher requirements. Relevant documents from the BSI have been collated on this page to help interested groups overcome this new challenge.
