In the last few years, cloud computing has been growing steadily, even if some promises of the initial period have not been fulfilled to the extent anticipated. However, it is no longer possible to speak of just hype, since cloud computing has become standard in many areas.

The BSI believes its task is to provide both providers and users with assistance so that cloud computing can be offered and used securely.
