Thanks to its day-to-day monitoring of the state of IT security, the National IT Situation Centre is always up to speed on the latest attacks and other events. This knowledge is made available to the IT security managers of the German Federal Government and other partners of the BSI in a confidential monthly report on the current situation in IT security.

In the annual BSI State of IT Security Report, the BSI and the National IT Situation Centre present their essential findings and the key events from the reporting period in question and offer their corresponding assessments. These reports also offer orientation as to of how the two organisations gauge the current security situation.
