In producing meaningful situation overviews and identifying possible connections as a basis for initiating measures or issuing warnings, it is important to take as many reports as possible into account. In addition, reports regarding cyber attacks or other security incidents should include the maximum amount of detail.

If you wish to contribute to a situation overview that is to be produced by the BSI, we kindly ask that you report such attacks and incidents to us here at the Federal Office for Information Security. You can also report security flaws and other vulnerabilities in IT products with the reporting form on the BSI website Melde- und Informationsportal.

In pressing cases, you can request support from the BSI, as well (pending the availability of corresponding resources). If you wish to do so, please fill out the report form in as comprehensive and detailed a manner as possible so that the BSI can assess and prioritise the situation at hand.
