A comprehensive overview of the current situation is essential in appraising the cyber security landscape in Germany. To complement its annual State of IT Security in Germany report, the BSI is currently working with its French partner authority, ANSSI, on producing a common situation overview for the two countries. The BSI also regularly publishes statistical data and key figures on topics such as malware and spam. In addition, the annual cyber security survey from the Alliance for Cyber Security maps out the threat landscape and determines the extent to which German institutions are exposed to cyber attacks.
