Catalogue of product classes and types
The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) publishes the catalogue of product classes and types for the implementation of the General Administrative Provision for the Material Protection of Classified Information(Verschlusssachenanweisung – VSA). It firms up the regulations specified in Section 52 (2) VSA.
This document is therefore intended for parties that may deal with the issue of "approval of IT security products" in the context of the VSA and is binding on these parties as an extension to the VSA.
