The German Federal Office for Information Security has commissioned Atos Origin GmbH (formerly: SchlumbergerSema Competence Center Informatik GmbH) in Meppen with the organisation and completion of the interoperability tests.

The test system operated by Atos Origin GmbH is a network of test computers on which the e-mail clients are tested. The system also includes an Exchange server, a Lotus Notes server and a GroupWise server. The test system is also provided with an internet connection, which is protected by a firewall.
