Technical Guidelines in the Context of German Electronic Identities

There are various Technical Guidelines and protection profiles for different types of electronic identity documents. They cover the documents themselves, document readers, and corresponding processes and protocols for everything from applying for and creating such documents to accessing the information they contain.

Under "Guideline", you can learn more about the contents of the respective Technical Guideline; direct links to the individual files are then available under "Documents".
