Protection Profiles in the Context of German Electronic ID Cards
Protection profiles based on the Common Criteria present threats to specific security objectives in a structured manner and define the minimum requirements of corresponding security measures. In line with these protection profiles, products designed to help achieve a particular security objective are evaluated with an eye towards granting them corresponding certificates.
