German IT Security Congress
The German IT Security Congress has been a fixture in the IT security industry for many years.
For two days, participants from administration, business, science and society will exchange views on current trends and perspectives in IT security. Numerous specialist lectures and discussions provide a comprehensive insight into current topics of cyber security. With the support of the Programme Advisory Board, the BSI selects a variety of creative, practical and comprehensible contributions and compiles an event program that covers the spectrum of cyber security in its entirety. In addition, the Best Student Award is traditionally awarded, with which the BSI awards and promotes young talents who contribute to the improvement of information security in Germany through special ideas and achievements.
Since 2021, the congress has been held annually as a digital event. Since the reorientation, the German IT Security Congress has recorded more than 8,000 registered participants each. The great interest in the BSI Congress shows that information security is an issue that concerns people. Cyber attacks or data thefts do not take place in a virtual parallel world, but have real consequences for citizens as well as for businesses and authorities.
