As Germany's federal cyber security agency, the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) has opened a second office in Freital.

The Freital office places the federal cyber security agency close to the innovation cluster in the Dresden region and allows it to capitalise on the resulting synergy effects. The goal and aspiration of the BSI is to create a uniform level of IT security throughout Germany. This drives the BSI to constantly expand its support for government, business and society.
