From the West and North-West (A 61)
At the Meckenheim motorway junction (29)(12) take the 565 motorway in the direction of Bonn. Take the Poppelsdorf exit (7) in the direction of Bonn-Bad Godesberg. Stay on the four-lane Reuterstraße. This leads into the B9\Friedrich-Ebert-Allee. Continue to follow the direction of Bad Godesberg. The road leads past the famous buildings of the Bundeskunsthalle, Kunstmuseum, Postbank and Deutsche Telekom headquarters (all on the right). Stay on the B9 until you reach the "Maritim" hotel (on the left). The BSI GA building is now on your right. Turn right into "Marie-Schlei-Allee" and after a few metres turn in the opposite direction. Cross the B9 and drive straight on into Heinemannstraße until you reach the BSI building on the left.
From the South-East (A3) from the direction of Frankfurt
Leave the motorway at the Siebengebirge exit (33). Turn right in the direction of Königswinter (L331). Pass through the village of Ittenbach and take the winding road down the hill. After approx. 6 km, bear right onto the B42 (four-lane road) in the direction of Bonn. At the Bonn-Ost motorway junction (42), take the 562 motorway towards Bonn. After crossing the Rhine, take the next exit "Bonn - Rheinaue". Turn left onto Ludwig-Erhard-Allee and after approx. 600m turn right onto Heinemannstraße. The BSI building is on the right-hand side.
From the North-East from the direction of Oberhausen (A3) or Cologne (A 59)
At the Heumarer motorway junction, take the 59 motorway towards Bonn. Stay on the 59 motorway, past the Sankt Augustin-West and Bonn-Beuel motorway junctions to the Bonn-Ost junction (42). Turn right onto the 562 motorway, in the direction of Bonn. After crossing the Rhine, take the next exit "Bonn - Rheinaue". Turn left onto Ludwig-Erhard-Allee and after approx. 600m turn right onto Heinemannstraße. The BSI building is on the right-hand side.
From the North from the direction of Cologne (A 555)
At the end of the 555 motorway at the Bonn Nord (6)(4) junction, take the A 565 towards Koblenz. After the "Endenich" exit take the exit in the direction of Bad Godesberg. Stay on the four-lane Reuterstraße. This leads into the B9\Friedrich-Ebert-Allee. Continue to follow the direction of Bad Godesberg. The road leads past the famous buildings of the Bundeskunsthalle, Kunstmuseum, Postbank and Deutsche Telekom headquarters (all on the right). By train
Take the underground railway from the main railway station in Bonn. Lines 16, 63 and 66 (every 7/8 min. during the day) run in the direction of Bad-Godesberg (line 66 in the direction of Bad Honnef). From the Siegburg ICE station, take line 66 in the direction of Bad Honnef/Königswinter. Alight at the stop 'Olof-Palme-Allee (Gronau)'.

By air
Shuttle buses run from Cologne Bonn Airport to the main railway station in Bonn (line SB 60). The journey takes approx. 30 minutes. Take the underground railway from the main railway station in Bonn. Lines 16, 63 and 66 (every 7/8 min. during the day) run in the direction of Bad-Godesberg (line 66 in the direction of Bad Honnef). Alight at the stop "Olof-Palme-Allee (Gronau)".

The building has several entrances, but the BSI can only be reached via the entrance on the north-eastern side. Coming from the corner of Heinemannstraße / Heinrich-von-Stephan-Straße, walk around the building to the right - i.e. anti-clockwise. The "BSI"-marking on the map also shows the building side of the correct entrance.
